The BAFTAs 2007 prize for Best Interactivity is won by Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather (Sky One) . Is it just me, or is this actually shite? I simply don’t understand how this could win a bafta.
The Future of Web Design conference was last week and there’s ample summary of the event on blogs and flickr. My take on it was that the whole thing was pretty well put together by Ryan and the rest of the folks over at Carson Systems with some great speakers drawn from some of the best people working in new media today.
Some bits did disappoint (particularly the Flash v. Standards slot which offered no real new insights or thinking on the issue). Minor crits aside though it’s a great event on the calendar for anybody working in new media and if you blag, buy or borrow a copy of the day’s presentations its well worth it.
