Much more over at Lovely Package.

Julius Grimm, a 19th century scientific photographer, is responsible for this beautiful rendering of the moon titled simply ‘Mond’. Find out more about Mr. Grimm here and download a hi-res version of the image here. Quite simply beautiful.
Superbly funny blog from James Goss, who is just as delightful in real life. James is a wonderfully talented new media producer for loads of great tv shows on BBC and C4, a playwright & author and all round good egg. Sample tags include ’sex’ ‘tv’ and ’self pity’ and you can read Skip’s Acorn Treasury yourself to get the full picture.
Not work safe if you happen to be employed by chinless monkeys, but for the rest of us it’s just essential reading.
Flash is coming to your TV. For anyone who doesn’t work in digital media then this will mean not much, but if you consider that this development will mean that we’ll soon have the opportunity to add real interactivity to linear broadcast media beyond simple information delivery or different viewing angles then you’ll see why I’ve gone a bit moist.
Imagine watching a tv show and being able to interact and form tribes with other audience members while the plot unfolds (sci-fi fans take note), or being able to go and find out more in-depth information while watching a documentary about the rain forests, or playing a game that’s based on the plot unfolding before you, the possibilities are massive…telly’s not dead, it’s just waking up.
See the full scope of Adobe’s Open Screen Project over here and maybe get some cash to develop your own ideas here.

From the genius that brought you My New Filing Technique is Unstoppable we now have their reflections on martial arts in My New Fighting Technique is Unstoppable. As funny as Dog Judo.
Ooops. New evidence suggests that the Long Tail effect may not have panned out as first thought. In fact, the word used is ‘debunked’. Read it here.
Want to big up your Wikipedia entry in the hope of fooling everybody into thinking that you’re very very nice instead of very very naughty? Well don’t…unless you want your underhand tinkerings to be discovered for all to see via Wikiscanner - see this article on the BBC to get the idea.
Nothwithstanding the fact that I thought he was dead, it seems that Kenny Everett is alive and well and working out an alternative career over here. Taxidermy is a long running obsession of mine, much to the delight of Mrs. Likeyoulike, to me it’s like seeing little friends brought back from the afterlife and made to stand for all eternity in realistic-live-action-poses®. Genius.
Ok, it’s been a while and I shouldn’t have left you but now I’m back and to start the ball rolling I’d like you to meet some of my little friends that live over at the zoo. There’ll be some more link goodness coming later on in, but if you’really want to get things rolling you can start by sending me some friends from the North American collection (like this little guy).
I’m used to the internet being both strange and wonderful, but frankly this is just weird. Nothing even comes close to being as disgusting as Tubgirl though – trust me, don’t even bother searching for it…you’ll wish you hadn’t. Honest.
