iPhone Calculator a tribute to Braun classic?
Course it is. Mind you, being the proud owner of my own classic braun calculator I use it mainly for calculating exactly how much I hate wanky design commentators like me ;)

Helvetica means so many things to so many people. Blanka have a series of commemorative posters for sale here…
Creative Review handily have their own blog thus saving me the trouble of relaying it all here. Nice
Ok, if you can’t wait for the iPhone to arrive in the uk then go and check out how you can get your hands on one here. On the other hand why not get a fcuking life and try getting an iPhone this way.
Tired of building layout grids by hand? I am, so why not use use this grid builder from Design by Grid. For the non-designers who are reading this you may be thinking “wtf is he talking about?”, but trust me…this is very important. Oh yes.
…and I’m one of them.
Ever get sick and tired of the seemingly never ending bank of dopey stock photography that gets deployed on low budget corporate websites? You’re not alone – listen to the angry man speak again.
The Future of Web Design conference was last week and there’s ample summary of the event on blogs and flickr. My take on it was that the whole thing was pretty well put together by Ryan and the rest of the folks over at Carson Systems with some great speakers drawn from some of the best people working in new media today.
Some bits did disappoint (particularly the Flash v. Standards slot which offered no real new insights or thinking on the issue). Minor crits aside though it’s a great event on the calendar for anybody working in new media and if you blag, buy or borrow a copy of the day’s presentations its well worth it.
Arnaud Mercier (formerly of Elixir Studio and Blast Radius) shows up in New York and Paris as part of Area 17.
Also looking lovely on the agency side is Deepend Australia (cheers Jon!)
